Anne Gro Starefoss Greve

“I'm inspired by being close to nature. My atelier is situated between the fjords and mountains in Bergen and on the Island Forstøno in Os, Norway. I grew up in this environment, among fishermen, farmers, and traders, in a community that has always relied on the sea. My education as a decorator paved the way for a career as a manager for purchasing and marketing designer products. However, I have always continued to interpret Nordic landscapes and creatures through acrylic paint on canvas, pastel chalk, and watercolor. For the past several years, art has been my full-time occupation.”
