What themes does your work involve?
My creative thinking is rather nebulous. The combination of realism and surrealism makes the narrative, reasoning, and philosophical throughout the picture, trying to achieve the ideal in my mind in my creation. Of course, I also ask the viewer to reflect on his or her own emotions.
Describe your creative process.
My paintings come from my innermost feelings, including the past, the present, and the future. Sometimes one of the characters in the picture is me, making up and directing the plot of the image, venting my own little emotions on the canvas in a frenzy.
What influences your work? What inspires you? Why do you make art?
Literature, philosophy, psychology, music, and calligraphy have a huge influence on my work, and the level of art I have depends entirely on my perception of the world, the only way for art to express itself.
What is good art? What makes a piece of art great?
It is vital to enhance both the taste of the audience and the recognition of the audience, and a good piece of work always resonates with people.
What is the role of the artist today?
The role of today's artists should be to lead or open up a new way of thinking with their works and become an integral part of people's lives.
