"I let myself be inspired by nature and its diversity. Even as a child I loved to draw and paint and make up stories to go with it. Later I worked as a jewelry designer and had the opportunity to design many new creations. In parallel, I continued to paint pictures in various techniques. Until, by a happy coincidence, leaves and flowers came to my mind for my theme: "Save the Earth"."

What themes does your work involve?
Nature pictures with the theme: "Save the Earth".
Describe your creative process.
Many pictures I paint first in small format. Then I scan you and about the Photoshop I put together different images of me. Then comes the third step and I paint on canvas with oil paints a large picture. This I then photograph and so there is always an oil painting of my pictures in original and large format, but also limited images of the oil painting as a digital format. All my pictures have the sense: "Save the earth!" They are intended to encourage mindfulness with nature. Because we have only this one beautiful planet Earth and this we should "Love and protect! Because what you love, you also protect.
What influences your work? What inspires you? Why do you make art?
As a TV presenter and author of two vegan books, I have always been committed to environmental and animal protection. In my paintings I have remained true to my attitude and paint nature with enthusiasm. To my great joy, I have found that I can almost always draw attention to the beauty of Mother Earth in interviews. That nature gives us everything if we treat her lovingly and gently. I am happy when my art brings a smile on the face of the viewer and perhaps inspires meditation in the direction of: "Save the earth!"
What is good art? What makes a piece of art great?
When I look at a picture and it makes me happy. It exhilarates me with its shapes and colors. I recognize the love that the artist has put into his work. The artist has created a recognition value with his pictures and his pictures radiate joy of life and confidence.
What is the role of the artist today?
With art you can communicate and build bridges to a topic that is close to your heart. Art is a memorable communicator! As artists, we can point to the uniqueness of life through art.
