"Human’s inner state and themes from life is my point of reference and while I paint, the feelings I convey, flow through me, I transcend space and time and I become the painting itself. My canvas is the door leading to another dimension and my brush is the key to open that door."
Aristi Hadjisavva was born in Paphos, Cyprus where she lives and works. A self- taught artist, the main themes in her artwork are the human figure, the portrait and the abstract, with the main characteristic being the intense colors. She has participated in 21 group exhibitions, three of them in London, where her work ‘’A man’s Moment’’ was voted one of the top 12 artworks at The Salon Des Refusees Summer Exhibition 2017, one in Greece and the rest in Cyprus. At the early years of her career, she had her first solo exhibition. Her works are in private collections in Cyprus and abroad, and have been published in the Cyprus press and in several websites. She is a member of Cyprus Open Studios and the organization Art Without Borders.
