"I love colors and I want them in many variations in my paintings. I also like happy and funny works and ideas based on Greek History and Mythology. I think I have been influenced in my technique by Warhol, who used infinite colors without fear."
Athina Kotsoni received an International distinction for the artwork "Emmanuelle" by the International Competition of Fine Art of the Italian Art Magazine Biancoscuro 2019. She also received Second Prize for Excellence from an International Art Competition in Brooklyn NY from the Circle of Arts Gallery in 2021.
Kotsoni participated in the Biennale London and Puglia Italy 2021 Exhibition, as well as in over 30 galleries around the world. In Greece she owned 7 private spaces named "Gallery Athina", one of them in Mykonos, while she continues to have TV shows, titled "Pop Art Athina" where she presents her work.
Mrs. Athina Kotsoni also made portraits of famous people around the world like Oprah, Queen Elizabeth, Princess Diana, Queen Wisdom while receiving personal "Thank you" letters from all of them. Finally, she participated many times in auctions featuring her artworks.
