Slovenian Artist, Barbara Demsar was born 1969 in Kranj and graduated from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Education, Dept. of Painting in 1997. She is a member of The Slovenian Association of Fine Arts Societies and Association of Artists Škofja Loka since 1997. With over 27 solo exhibitions in her homeland and abroad, the artist has an impressive resume with over 200 group show participations Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Italy, Austria, France, Belgium, Romania, Germany, Greece, Turkey, the USA, and UAE. She has received 23 international awards including the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant and participated in over 50 workshops internationally.
