"My work is primarily focused on abstract concepts such as love, wrath, pride, etc. My goal is to create hyper-realistic/surrealistic artwork using these abstract concepts. However, my art can also shift its focus to the hyper-realistic rendition of people, serving as tributes to them."
Bonaventure Ogbaugo is a Nigerian-born American artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Featured in the 38th Edition of Artistonish Magazine, he is celebrated for his award-winning creations showcased in numerous national and international juried shows and group exhibitions. Some notable exhibitions include The Schwa Show at Emerge Gallery, i GOT FiVE-OH ON iT! at Hayti Heritage Center, and Wild & Tamed at Blue Koi Gallery. His art has been prominently displayed in iconic locations such as New York’s Times Square and North Carolina’s Bank of America Stadium. Ogbaugo's pieces are proudly housed in corporate and private collections across the United States.
