"I find my inspiration partly in nature; biology, geology, and partly in art. Before I start, I choose a color scheme, which for me represents a feeling such as an air of masculinity or femininity. My process of paintings is intuitive and I like to express with shapes and colors."
Primarily a self-taught artist, Christine Halloff was born in Geneva, Switzerland and resides in Sweden. Halloff has taken courses with various artists including Ann Nystrom Grundell, Gerleborg Skola Elisabeth Englund, Eva Soderberg, Anders Wallin, Ewa Karpinska, Gunnel Moheim, Ylva Sager, Peter Sager, Lars Eje Larsson, Staffan Tolsen, Stefania Rjeb Sir. She actively exhibits her work with multiple group and solo shows in Sweden.
