"In my work, I try to connect with the viewer. I try to find some element of truth that resonates with the viewer and leaves them something after they have left the piece. Articulate something we have felt, and we connect with that thing in a way where words are not necessary."
Claudia Aguilera was born in Uruguay and currently lives in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She is a mixed media artist specializing in abstract art, especially the energy, motion, and flow of alcohol inks. Through an incessant search of combinations of elements that are recognizable by man and others that only live inside her, materializing by way of colors, lines and an excellent design of the composition, she arrives at the synthesis from something she considers primordial to highlight in her work and it is nothing less than nature in its most compacted expression.
"I observe, read and translate complex forms of landscapes that result being very pleasant to a human being and even more in these times that humanity needs to step back and enjoy these very simple but beautiful gifts that nature give us."
