Themed Contest: Art in the time of Coronavirus & Social Distancing

This month, we asked artists to show us work that was recently created which was inspired by and dealt with the current pandemic and social distancing. This novel situation has had an impact globally, not only on our political and economical lives as citizens, but maybe most importantly, on our personal and social life, our everyday habits, and the way we connect with each other and with our communities. Artists have a distinctive way of perceiving, visualizing and communication and in this important historical moment, artists’ voices become immensely important in providing insight into the present moment.

We are impressed by the variety and uniqueness of the artworks you submitted and with over 400 participating artists, selecting only a few pieces for the online show was not an easy task.
