“What inspires me as an artist is the creative process itself and the possibilities and challenges that lie within. As a composer, I always felt content with the metaphor of placing the sound on a canvas of silence. Now, as a painter, I am intrigued by the idea that the creative process could reveal itself if I only listened. My art could not evolve without the stillness I find in nature, where I reflect on my inner landscape and find inspiration for my work.”
“Before I became a painter, I had established a career as a musician and composer of New Music, which allowed me to live and work in Germany, Austria, Cyprus, and Hawaii. Since I started to shift my focus on becoming a painter, my works are being exhibited and awarded internationally. I currently live in Buffalo, NY, where I continue my artistic journey of discovery as a painter out of my home studio.”
