Éda Gyenis

“Art gives me happiness. I love nature and humans so much. A face, a gesture, a landscape, a color... these all tell something. I want to pass on these stories and feelings to others. Although the world often seems bad, love can always be found in the creation behind everything.”

The girl with swallows - Pen drawing on paper 20 x 30 cm

Éda Gyenis was born in 1963 in Jászberény, Hungary and now lives in the town of Harkány. She graduated from Medical University (POTE) and is a retired Medical Doctor. A self-taught artist, Eda has been painting seriously for the past four years. "My art is already my life."

"I paint because it gives me happiness. I think the main task of art is to touch the infinite. Honesty and love are the most important values in art for me."
