Colourful vibrant paintings with a unique Caribbean Style.

Erik Neimeijer is a Dutch rock'n'roll musician and painter of large scale colorful paintings. His vibrant pictures of gambling men, planes, bulls, musicians, cars, lovers and tropicals scenes have a Caribbean vibe and a loose but very recognizable style. Somewhere between Walt Disney and Diego Rivera, he creates a dynamic, lovable and sturdy new world.
Erik Neimeijer (b. 1982) was educated as a Social Psychologist, he plays guitar and sings in the non-stop touring Dutch rockband, Bökkers. In the summer of 2017, Erik had his first art exhibition and started painting and showing his work at an incredible pace at several Dutch and Dutch-Caribean galleries in the same non-stop manner he plays his music. A 25-paintings solo-exhibition opened in July 2019 at the Herman Brood Museum in the Netherlands. In the fall of 2019, his paintings were exhibited with DAC Concepts Gallery in Greece and at Red Dot Miami, during Miami Art Basel in Florida.
During the first months of 2020, all galleries and exhibitions are closed. An online auction at the Dutch Herman Brood Museum resulted in good sales and press. During the Corona months, Erik's new and old work will be on sale in the webshop.
