German artist, Rosemarie Berger worked as a designer in Advertising and for many years she was responsible for the entire photo planning of an extensive work area, certainly one of the foundations of her further development. She started working as a photo-artist in 2008 and has since shown her pictures successfully at national and international exhibitions, e.g. at Art Karlsruhe, Art Strasbourg, Art Innsbruck and many more.
Thoughts and emotions become visible in her pictures. The theme of “being and passing” often sounds like the basic tenor of her work, and she attaches great importance to the special detail. Excerpts removed from the whole, thus with a very special effect - and - it only allows itself natural light. She artistically processes the images on the computer. This can be understood as if a painter would apply several layers of paint with a brush and then partially remove some areas, also comparable to a (digital) collage.
She is a member of well-known art associations in Germany and the author of an illustrated book “Change - New Castle Baden-Baden.”
Rosemarie Berger arbeitete als Designerin in der Werbung und führte viele Jahre die gesamte Fotoplanung eines umfangreichen Arbeitsbereiches, sicher eine der Grundlagen ihrer weiteren Entwicklung. Ab 2008 begann sie mit ihrer Arbeit als Fotokünstlerin und zeigt seitdem ihre Bilder erfolgreich bei nationalen und internationalen Ausstellungen aus, so z.B. bei der Art Karlsruhe, Art Straßburg, Art Innsbruck u.v.m.
In ihren Bildern werden Gedanken und Emotionen sichtbar. Als Grundtenor ihrer Arbeiten klingt vielfach die Thematik „Sein und Vergehen“, dabei legt sie Wert auf das besondere Detail. Ausschnitte dem Ganzen entrückt, damit mit einer ganz eigener Wirkung – und – sie gestattet sich nur natürliches Licht. Das künstlerische Bearbeiten der Bilder vollzieht sie am Computer. Das kann man so verstehen, als würde ein Maler mit dem Pinsel mehrere Schichten Farben auftragen und partiell wieder einige Bereiche entfernen, auch vergleichbar mit einer (digitalen) Collage.
Sie ist Mitglied in namhaften Kunstvereinen Deutschlands und Urheberin eines Bildbandes „Wandel - Neues Schloss Baden-Baden“.
