“Inspired by nature and love to bring its beauty to my art.”
I am an Artist, Plant Physiologist, and Project Officer based in Canberra.
Influenced by studying Plant Physiology, I developed a strong connection with nature and was inspired by its beauty, which is expressed extensively in my artwork.
I’ve been a painter since my teenage years and have been spending my summer breaks, while in school, attending art classes with a talented artist in my home town, learning drawing and painting. After graduating with a master's degree in plant physiology, I started to work in Public Service. Being a mother and having full-time work didn’t allow me to focus on painting for quite a while. After I had my second child and during my leave from work, I found more time to myself which gave me the opportunity to put brushes on canvas and start painting again. I completed my Diploma of Visual Arts in 2020 and became a full-time artist.
My work is diverse and not confined to one style or one medium. I enjoy working with and exploring all mediums and styles and am highly skilled in oil and acrylic painting. My special interest is in landscape painting, inspired mostly by my own photos.
My mission is to capture the natural beauties that exist all around and in everyday life. If it is a flower, a landscape, or anything from nature, my passion is to paint it. I am always in search of something that challenges me and inspires me as an artist.
