"Art is my passion. I love beautiful objects, scenes, flowers, fabric, and people and paint to immortalize them by conveying what I feel when I see them. I have to capture the moment and am always eager to see what unfolds on my canvas."

Grace’s passion for colour is evident in her paintings. She gained a great deal of inspiration from books portraying the works of Sergei Bongart, Nicolai Fechin, Rembrandt, John Singer Sargent, Richard Schmid, Dan Gerhartz and the Impressionists. Her painting is representational though tending towards impressionism, with abundant colour and paint. She paints a wide variety of subjects ranging from landscapes, animals and florals to still life, portraits and nudes. Her artistic goal is to have her paintings reflect the warm and colorful beauty that surrounds us, conveying a sense of nostalgia for familiar places and keen anticipation for those that we have yet to visit. Grace now lives and paints in France.
