"I am a visual artist since 2008 when I began my career as a Surrealistic painter. I paint with oil on canvas."
“I have loved painting since childhood, inspired by my grandfather who was a Musician and Conductor. Also one of my aunts was a remarkable charcoal painter. I love Surrealism. First I fell in love with Dali's paintings. Then I came across Vito Campanella's artwork and he became my mentor. In 2008 I began my art career 9 years earlier to get my retirement as a Medical Doctor.
I began watercolor and sketching with Professor Miguel De Petris until his decease in 2012. In 2013 I continued hyperrealistic techniques with Professor Villar for 5 years. Since then I am attending Professor Martha Magnani's art workshop. She is a very well-known artist in Argentina and abroad.
I have exhibited in my own Country, Argentina many times, and abroad also. In Mexico, three times, In 2015, 2016, and 2017. In Chile, once, and in the Carrousel of Paris twice. In 2018 and 2019.
I was selected to exhibit in Artexpo NY, due to the nature of my paintings in 2020 by the curators of an Argentinian Gallery. But this exhibit has been postponed to November 2021 because of the pandemic. I received a Certificate of Excellence from Circle Foundation this year. In fact, that certificate gave me great joy and satisfaction.
Painting is one of my passions. The other one is science. I find relaxation and joy in painting each of my artworks. After more than 30 years working in ICU and in ER as a Cardiologist, I have found that Art has given me a reward after so many years of practicing such a demanding profession that I love from the bottom of my heart. I think that I am a lucky person. Because life has given me the opportunity to practice Medicine and also painting what I love the most. Surrealism.”
