"A painting has a power to influence one's mood and state of mind. A glance can shift a feeling of restlessness to calmness, of sadness to hopefulness, of pain to love. Art speaks to the heart, it speaks straight to the soul Mainly abstraction in style, all my arts are painted intuitively."
Hanna Supetran is an internationally multi-award winning artist who creates thought-provoking and emotionally evocative abstract paintings. She was named as one of the Top 20 Artists to invest in by DESTIG Magazine’s (UK) November 2018 Special Art Investment Edition. Hanna also made it to Art Tour International Magazine’s (New York) Editors’ Pick 2019 Winter’s Edition and Top Contemporary Artists to Watch 2018.
Her paintings received numerous accolades and awards from reputable and established art organizations, curators and jurors from USA, Europe and Asia. Hanna’s award-winning arts are painted intuitively using oil. Her paintings show the poetry in colors dancing graciously like a symphony. Fearless, unapologetic, expressive, colorful and bold, each painting reflects the vibrancy of life, a balance of intense texture and soft movements, a contrast of dark and light, cold and warm.
Hanna was a corporate executive turned full-time artist. Her childhood passion in arts was ignited through a series of synchronistic events. A needed break from her decade long jet-setting corporate life gave her the time to slow down and found herself painting again. This was followed by commissioned works, to an invitation to join a group exhibit as the new artist in one of the most reputable art galleries in the Philippines where Hanna was born and raised.
Passion ignited, she left the corporate world, flew to Florence, Italy and took an Intensive Visual Art course, which included Photography, Fresco, Contemporary Art Technique & Figure Drawing at the Accademia D’Arte Firenze, came back to the Philippines and has been a full-time artist since.
Hanna has exhibited in the USA, Europe and Asia.
