"I am an artist living in London. I was born in Yerevan, Armenia. In 2001, I immigrated to England. After my early retirement, I had more time to spend on my art creation. My preferred style of painting is impressionism, and my favorite mediums are oil, soft pastels, and gouache."

Howard Arthur Tweedie primarily focuses on portraits, figure, and contemporary plein-air landscape painting. After four years of formal study in Australia and France with Studio Escalier, as well as attending workshops in Madrid with Nicolas Uribe and Miguel Coronado, and in Sydney with Idris Murphy and others, he has had the opportunity to exhibit in prestigious group shows in Europe, North America, and Australia. His accolades include being a finalist in the Mosman and Percival prizes and a semi-finalist in the Moran, NSW Plein Air, and Spain's ModPortrait prizes, with a third solo show scheduled in Sydney for 2024.
