Mon travail se décline dans 4 grandes séries: Émotion, Energie, Perception, Cocooning. Sur une toile enduite de médiums de textures, je peins dans un état d'être en suspension, libéré des interférences et des contraintes du quotidien, d'où jaillissent ses ''synchronicités picturales''. Un geste initial et introductif, telle une danse exprimant une fluidité de mouvement menant à un ensemble cohésif, fort mais d'une délicatesse presque inexplicable, mais tangible. La sensibilité qui émane de mon travail évolue en une vérité inconsciente, une expérience porteuse d'espoir, de force, d'expression de vie mais aussi de liberté. Chaque œuvre vous invite pour l'unicité d'un moment, à vous plonger dans votre propre histoire c'est alors que je sais que mon tableau est terminé.

My work comes in 4 major series: Emotion, Energy, Perception, Cocooning. On a canvas coated with textural mediums, I paint in a state of being in suspension, freed from the interferences and constraints of everyday life, from which spring its ''pictorial synchronicities''. An initial and introductory gesture, like a dance expressing a fluidity of movement leading to a cohesive whole, strong but of an almost inexplicable, yet tangible delicacy. The sensitivity that emanates from my work evolves into an unconscious truth, an experience that brings hope, strength, expression of life but also freedom. Each work invites you for the uniqueness of a moment, to immerse yourself in your own story, that's when I know my painting is finished.

What influences your work? What inspires you? Why do you make art?

Créer de l'art n'est pas seulement quelque chose que je fais, mais une manière de vivre. Mon art, comme ma vie, consiste à trouver un équilibre entre le chaos et le calme. Les gens autour de moi, avec l'activité trépidante de nos vies, ou les moments de calme en forêt ou dans mon jardin, influencent mon travail qui oscille entre des marques dynamiques, des textures présentes, et des zones de calme. Ma recherche picturale vise a représenter les émotions positives qui élèvent l'âme, qui iront chercher le meilleur de l'être humain. Avec les bouleversement planétaire le monde a besoin d'amour.

Creating art is not just something I do, but a way of life. My art, like my life, is about finding a balance between chaos and calm. The people around me, with the hectic activity of our lives, or the moments of calm in the forest or in my garden, influence my work which oscillates between dynamic marks, present textures, and zones of calm. My pictorial research aims to represent the positive emotions that elevate the soul, which will seek the best of human beings. With planetary upheaval the world needs love.

What are your goals and plans as an artist in 2023?

Mon objectif est d'être représentée par 2 ou 3 autres galeries, Toronto et États-Unis.

How do recent advancements in technology affect your art practice? How may recent developments in Artificial Intelligence (image generator software) affect the definition of fine art?

Il devient de plus en plus difficile de demeurer motivé à créer de l'art animique devant cet engouement pour l'art numérique, une image sans âme. Aujourd'hui tout est axé sur la rapidité, la facilité, l'éphémère, le grand ''Art'' se meurt. Je crois que la définition de l'art va changer, avec la nouvelle génération qui apprend la technologie avant même de marcher il ne faut pas s'étonner que pour eux créer ça se fait sur un logiciel.

It is becoming more and more difficult to remain motivated to create soul art in the face of this craze for digital art, a soulless image. Today everything is focused on speed, ease, the ephemeral, the great ''Art'' is dying. I believe that the definition of art will change, with the new generation learning technology before they even walk, it should come as no surprise that for them creating is done on software.

What is the role of the artist today?

Un artiste est là pour remettre en question, faire voir le monde dans lequel il vit, faire rêver ou dénoncer selon ses convictions. L'art est ma propre soupape émotionnelle, c'est ma perception de la réalité en image.

An artist is there to question, to show the world in which he lives, to dream or to denounce according to his convictions. Art is my own emotional valve, it is my perception of reality in images.
