Jiawei’s practice depicts mundanity and emptiness through a surreal reality. Utilize the understated diary to wake up subconsciousness and create a new conversation between people.

Jiawei Fu (b.1998) was born and raised in Guangzhou, China. She has received a BFA in Interior Design from Pratt Institute, NY. Currently, she works as an Interior Design in Los Angeles, CA. Jiawei’s exploration of the relationship between human and non-human has been recognized by various media and galleries including Archleague NY, Rockport Art & Associate Museum, Prince Street Gallery, Las Laguna Gallery, Benicia Art Gallery, Observica Magazine, Center of Contemporary Art etc. Her work is currently displayed online by ArtshowInternational, and available for purchase through Artsy, Artnet & Foundwork.
