"The sleeping artist refers to my subconscious and the art is mainly comprised of pop surrealist work. I draw from many inspirational figures from video directors such as Chris Cunningham to surrealist artists such as Salvador Dali. I am a Post Graduate from UWE Bristol and a working fine artist."
English artist, John-Paul Gibbs has managed a crew in an art direction role for the feature film 'Hedda' and has exhibited worldwide with APW Gallery, Long Island City and Madison Square Gardens New York. With numerous group shows to his resume around Bristol, including at the old Fire Station and Thekla. Gibbs has toured with Rolling Stage, creating productions with Hidden Shallows productions around animal cabaret ideas, showcased at Bristol’s Leftbank Vegefest and Boomtown.
