A remarkable Brazilian artist, Leila Bokel was born in 1957 in Rio de Janeiro, where she lives and works today. She graduated from Santa University and is also a professional dancer. Bokel's artistic formation was at the School of Visual Arts, Parque Lage, Rio, Brazil. Since 2006, she had shown in group and solo shows all over the country and abroad. In 2017, Leila became a member of Circle Foundation and began showing at art fairs in Miami, New York and Los Angeles.
