Dutch Artist, Majo Portilla has been painting for 20 years across the globe, from Amsterdam, Guatemala, USA and Switzerland to Dubai. With rich experience accrued over her travels, she channels this into her bold, semi-abstract artworks which command the vibrancy and success of her fine art career.
Majo Portilla has sold work to art enthusiasts from all over the world, participated in art fairs and auctions which support charities such as Fe y Alegria (El Salvador), ISA’s Maasae Tanzania Project, Japan Relief Fund, and Habitat for Humanity (Project Romania and Hungary). Exhibitions include at Mauritius International Art Fair, Carrousel du Louvre Contemporary Art Fair, Museo Diffuso Contemporaneo Permanent Exhibition in Italy, and the Museum of the Americas, participations which have propelled her artwork to diverse markets throughout the globe.
In between trips, Majo teaches acrylic and oil in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where she is currently based.
