Passionate about the arts since childhood, Canadian artist, Mariclair Plante explores as many techniques as possible: drawing, painting, textiles, mixed media, etc. She has had several training courses with masters in visual art, private and in groups, with recognized artists such as Francine Labelle, Seymour Segal, Laurent Bonet.

 In 2005, a visceral need to express herself freely brought Mariclair into the world of abstract art. She opened her professional workshop and since then produced large-format abstract works between automatism and abstract expressionism. Mariclair is represented by Gallery Bloom Montréal, Gallery Archambault Lavaltrie, Gallery NAK Ottawa, and SAATCHI, ArtMajeur, Singulart Web.

The recipient of several awards since 2012, she is frequently cited in local media (TV, radio, press). Mariclair Plante's works are part of public and private collections in Canada, the United States and Europe.
