"My work draws attention to the continuity of images as they pass through time, from my all-American upbringing time frame to today’s contemporary imagery of outside graffiti. Inspired by multiple mediums, I can rarely confine myself to one art form, sculpture, mixed media, prints, and drawings."

Mattingly’s work draws attention to the continuity of images as they pass through time, from her all-American upbringing time frame to today’s contemporary imagery of outside graffiti.
Inspired by multiple mediums, Mattingly can rarely confine herself to one art form and produces work that crosses boundaries and styles. Using aluminum from sculptural work like 'The Swimmer,' or 'Are We There Yet;' showing a nostalgic pink Cadillac, to her current take on her photographic graffiti on metal using LED lights and neon.
Her art has been shown in various galleries and fairs across the country and Museums, and collected by many here and abroad. She lives and works in New York, LIC, and Hampton Bays.
