"I’m a Hungarian artist. My artworks take an inspiring view of ordinary things and extraordinary examples of human life. My inspirations come from the Bible, history and travel experiences. I emphasize personal responsibility and the role of free will and choice in our life."
ldikó Mecséri was born in 1971, in Győr, Hungary and graduated as a Cultural Manager and then as an Economist. Mecséri received an MBA from University of Lincoln and then began a career in e-commerce where he worked as Sales and Quality Assurance Manager for many years.
"I have traveled a lot and photography became one of my favorite hobbies. Later I started to paint with oil, and in painting I found a way to express my thoughts. I would like to send positive messages through my paintings and use my travel experiences among different cultures to show the complexity of life. Furthermore, I choose my painting topics from history, faith and science themes. My painting style is metaphorical realism, and I work with oil paints. My applied techniques are varied: alla prima, flemish etc. I constantly research and develop new painting techniques to find the best fit my artworks."
Mecséri has been exhibiting in Hungary as well as internationally in Carrousel du Louvre, Paris, Brussels, Art3F, Woman’s Essence Rome.
