ldikó Mecséri was born in 1971, in Győr, Hungary and graduated as a Cultural Manager and then as an Economist. Mecséri received an MBA from University of Lincoln and then began a career in e-commerce where he worked as Sales and Quality Assurance Manager for many years.

"I have traveled a lot and photography became one of my favorite hobbies. Later I started to paint with oil, and in painting I found a way to express my thoughts. I would like to send positive messages through my paintings and use my travel experiences among different cultures to show the complexity of life. Furthermore, I choose my painting topics from history, faith and science themes. My painting style is metaphorical realism, and I work with oil paints. My applied techniques are varied: alla prima, flemish etc. I constantly research and develop new painting techniques to find the best fit my artworks."
