"I enjoy experimenting, but I can enjoy learning other artist's styles in a workshop. After I create, I hope to share my art with titles that indicate love of my faith, love of nature, floral arrangements, and especially love of sharing other people's stories."
Susan Ashley was born in Dayton, Ohio and soon moved to Northern California with her family, growing up in Burlingame, California. She studied at the University of California, Berkeley with a group major of Social Welfare that included economics, anthropology, and cultural anthropology, psychology, philosophy, and a simple class of physics without math.
"As I was graduated, I married my husband, Andre who studied Physics at UC Berkeley. I did have some interior design successful jobs. Later I was publicly showing my art at the California Watercolor Society. I won an award for a scholarship to San Francisco Academy of Art in which I studied anatomy. I have been grateful for awards."
