Natalie Sobo

Natalie Sobo is a Toronto-based artist, graduate of the St. Petersburg (Russia) Stieglitz Academy of Art and Design in 1993, and the International Academy of Design and Technology, Toronto, in 2002.

Natalie has continued to produce and exhibit her work throughout Toronto and internationally. Her artistic upbringing was defined by international travel, exposing herself to new cultures, and sharing her artwork around the world.

Her works can be found in the St. Petersburg Museum of F. M. Dostoyevsky, the Private Museum of Modern Art in Heraklion, Greece, and in private collections in Germany and The Netherlands, Canada, and USA. Natalie is proud to be an Award Winner with the Society of Canadian Artists, Acrylic Painters USA, Vancouver Art Space, WA, Art Impact International, MD, Envision Arts, TX, Northern California Arts, CA. "In my artwork, I try to find the sound of color, to hear the color and to make the picture sound. I want to hear the vibration of the colors and tones, the rhythm of the lines and shapes. I try to create a visual harmony akin to the auditory sensation that we feel while listening to music. I try to find the right tones, rhythms and vibrations to bring color, shape and line to create visual music of harmony and happiness.”
