"Normality is a paved road. It's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow." - Vincent van Gogh
“Born close to Nuremberg, I grew up in the city of Albrecht Duerer and have been under the spell of this fascinating artist since I was a child. Besides my job as a dentist my heart always belonged to art. I painted every free minute, I wanted to capture the music of the waves, the fire of the setting sun and the hymn of the wind in my paintings, To improve and refine my techniques, I studied Fine Arts at the Academy of Faber-Castell from 2014 to 2018.
Inspired by my studies and visits to museums all over the world, my art got influenced by 'Informal Art'. I love the work of Emil Schumacher, Anselm Kiefer, Jean Dubuffet, Alberto Burri and last not least I was deeply impressed by Jackson Pollock and Franz Kline.
With my paintings, I want to express a passionate joy about the beauty of life, the beauty of art and the beauty of the world. I would also like to draw peoples' attention to current topics and issues. I want to make aware of the problems of our time as environmental destruction.
I had solo exhibitions of my work in the Diakonie Puschendorf in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2020. In 2019 I was invited to show my work on the great art fair Art Austria in Vienna. Also last year I took part in the ceremonial handover of my painting 'Germania Moderna' to the mayor of Sovicille. I am very proud that my painting is now hanging in the Town Hall of Sovicille in the wonderful Tuscany in Italy. This year I will exhibit in Azaro Art Spaces in Hamburg and on the Salzburg International Art Fair."
