"I work on my prints
in search of simplicity
coming from the heart."

"My main media has been monotype print, applying color ink on a plate and transferring it to paper. Working on my prints is a meditative game of balancing shapes, colors, and textures. When I am working in the studio, I am focused on the prints and all else fades to the background.

After receiving a BFA in 1982, from the Kansas City Art Institute, I moved to Seattle. There I created a large body of whimsical, geometric, abstract oil paintings on canvas. I showed with Davidson Gallery in Seattle until moving to Bellingham, WA in 2002. Here I began to focus more on the monotype prints. I was represented by Lucia Douglas Gallery in Bellingham until 2000, when the gallery closed."
