SEEK AND FIND
A participatory project about seeking connection and forms of communication
Due to the isolation, I looked for connections to the outside in my painting. This resulted in the “Seek and Find” format, in which the viewer can co-determine and influence the title and history of this work. It is an attempt to blur the “boundaries” between painter and recipient, to create a complete work in which different parts and feelings come together, with my work being available as a mirror.
The subject of “relationships” and “referring” becomes visible on different levels. It appears in the painterly implementation and receives a performative, participatory character with the inclusion of other people’s perspectives.
For this I set up a call and invitation seek_and_find2020 on Instagram
My introduction:
SEEK AND FIND
A participatory project about seeking connection and forms of communication
My invitation
I started a new series of paintings with no titles. For each painting I want to invite you to find a spontaneous title or message!
It is the experiment to blurry the borders between the art object and the recipients.
An experiment to dissolve the classical comparison between art work and recipients in order to create a snythesis of arts with different participants.
How does it work?
Please comment your title to the individual painting in English or German.
Write your initial with locoation, for example
P.B., Berlin, Germany
I am saving and collecting your notes by transferring them on the backside of the original painting.
Looking forward to our collaboration and thank you so much being part of this project!!
