"I am primarily concerned with questions of origin, power systems that evoke distress, and limitation through systemic structures. With regard to the need for superordinate and transcendent synergies, I investigate within my work how the protection of nature can succeed. What is interesting for me is their seemingly different functioning, as well as survival strategies compared to those of humans."
Multimedia artist based in Hamburg, Germany, Shuk Orani has shown his work in Germany and beyond. Participating in exhibitions and art fairs throughout Europe and China, he was one of the most distinguished painters invited to the Contemporary Art Gallery in Beijing, Louvre Museum Paris*, Galleria Farini Concept, Italy.
Some of Orani's first projects were realized on commission by luxury boutique hotels and various art studios. He has been in a boundary transcending cooperation with a theatre group.
Orani has developed art concepts, some of which have been integrated into various institutions. Predominantly working with oil on canvas, he also produces graphic and digital creations, sculptures and photographs. Orani's pieces, often large in scale, give the impression of an "intimate blink to continuous productivity," are colorful and perceptibly erotic.
Orani is inspired by positive surroundings and the creative capacity o humans. He deeply believes in art to benefit life with its moving, demanding and satisfying powers. His playful manner gives birth to exciting creations, encompassing moods, atmospheres and an inner discourse involving the complex and the simple.
