"I love landscape, nature, indoor photography. Mountains inspire me a lot."
Italian artist, Stefania Grasso was born in Vercelli, 1977. She is a microbiologist. She is also a photographer with many publications and prizes. Her favorite themes are travel photography, nature, landscapes and arts with photos of churches and monuments. She also loves to create photobooks to exhibit during cultural and naturalistic events.
Grasso has gained prizes in contests related to nature and the arts and has published several covers for travel reviews such as Markos but also fotografare.com, N-photography. Some of her portfolios have been selected by CNN in the section iReport. She was a finalist in the 'Green Environment Contest, Vietnam', 2012 in the Flowers category and recently she has collaborated with International Contemporary Artists in New York and Hidden Treasure Art Spring 2015 in London with pictures of Italian monuments, sculptures and paintings especially Tuscany art.
Many of her works have been published for touristic pages VolgoItalia, The Hub Art, Venice Art Guide. The Valtournenche area has been promoted not only in Aosta Valley but also in big cities such as Rome and New York. Last July, a book Himmelblau published in Germany and Scotland includes her pictures of Cervino with clouds. Recently some of her pictures of mountain donkeys have been mentioned as editor choice for National Geographics and Grasso took part in the Biennale di Venezia 2019 for World of Art Magazine with Valtournenche pictures.
Grasso is an author and self-published phonebooks about travel and landscapes available on Amazon, “Sensazioni di Viaggio” and “Di te ha detto il mio cuore”. She is available for travel reportages, events and portraitures.
