Steffi Rodigas

"I'm doing what my heart tells me and letting my hands create with colors and shapes. Nature is my teacher and with my paintings, I want to show my deepest reverence and respect for the beauty of trees, forests, animals and landscapes. I would like to bring the beauty closer to the viewer."

Wolf - Acrylic, paper 75 x 75 cm

"I have spent a large part of my life working in various professions including teacher, social pedagogue, headmistress, transport entrepreneur and bringing up my three children. However, art has always been in my heart, so a few years ago I broke with all conventions, quit my job and from then on did what I wanted to do- express my feelings, my world of thoughts with art and music. Since 2018 I have been working as a freelance artist. My deep connection to nature, animals and love of detail is reflected in my artistic work. In works on topics such as pollution of the oceans, media overload, cruise ships, dangers for animals or climate change, I articulate my feelings and opinions on world events. In addition to representational works, I created my own art form "ART in ART", in which colour as the main element combines realistic painting and abstraction. Numerous tiny works of art are in harmony with the overall work. I also have a special love for three-dimensional representation in the form of sculptures."
