Stephen Way

“Recently I have been doing a series of ink drawings on OSB. It is made from pine flakes of various shapes, sizes, colours and tones, and as such it is quite unique. People have described them as different and strong. Likely due to the underlying material. It has been an experimental exercise.”

Emotional Storm - Oil on canvas 90 x 120 cm

Steve lives in Bondi Beach, Australia, with the beautiful Karen and has two grown children. Steve recently returned to art full-time. Since then he has won several awards in the categories of Painting, Drawing, and Photography in online competitions. Seeing this as a positive sign Steve has submitted proposals for possible gallery shows and has been offered at least one for Feb '18. Steve is happy to use all art materials and or mixed media and has tried most genres. He feels that Abstract Art is more in line with his thinking, work-life experiences, and his innate creative ability. He holds a Fine Arts Diploma (major in Painting) from National Art School Sydney 1995.
