“My work expresses my experiences and the things that came through my life, both negative and positive.”
Thai contemporary artist, Suwijak Kaewmaliwong lives and works in Lamphun. His unique canvases masterfully blend the figurative and the abstract. Stretched and bent, strange fleshy parts become words in a dynamic vocabulary, like a new body language telling of the artist’s inner psyche. Laid bare, that which has been lived or imagined, bursting into an open-ended narrative which creates a passionate space for the viewer to behold.
