"I use abstract expressionism in most of my works as my favorite style. "Earth" and "Earth and Water" form the core of my works that is collectively called "Grounding". In some of my works, I've merged the style of abstract expressionism with surrealism and I have called it “abstract expressurrealism"."
Born in Tehran, 1950, to a family of artists, Iranian painter Mohsen Modiri has been involved in visual arts, music and literature since adolescence. His works have been selected, exhibited, sold and in private and public collections in Italy, Belgium, France, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, Iran, the United States and Canada.
