"My artistic inspiration is drawn from the natural patterns and effects created by the inevitable decay of man-made and natural surfaces all around us. These patterns and textures when observed with the artistic eye, exhibit the organic and ever-changing beauty present in nature."
Born in Italy, Tiziana Mazziotto trained as a set artist in her native Naples and has spent the past 20 years fostering a career in the theatre and film industries.
"Fascinated by weathering and aging techniques, I have also employed my skills in my own artwork, simulating a variety of surfaces, textures and effects reflecting inspiration I find in the everyday world.”
Tiziana Mazziotto has lived in the United States for 20 years, including in CT and KY working as a Scenic Artist/Scenic Charge in some of the major regional theaters in the country. Eight years ago, Tiziana decided to move to New York City to take up a job in the tv and film industry. She now lives in Brooklyn with her husband.
