Tony Seker is a multicultural NYC artist, originally from Lebanon. His abstract painting style stems from his refugee experience. After fleeing the Lebanese Civil War, he abruptly dispensed of using camouflage colors on his toy model warplanes and, in protest, began to paint with bold, colorful paint.
Tony Seker's art can be seen year-round on exhibit at Galerie Sonia Monti in Paris, France and the Piermont Flywheel Gallery in NY. He is also represented by invitation at the Laguna Arts Gallery (Laguna Beach, CA), Galerie Sonia Monti (Paris, France), Art Scoops (Beirut, Lebanon), Creative Inks (Saudi Arabia), Circle Arts (Lyon, France) and Singulart (Paris, France). Seker is also listed by multiple galleries on the exclusive Artsy platform. Tony was selected from over 1,000 artists to be included in the 2020 Fall edition of the prestigious Studio Visit Magazine (received by over 2,000 galleries, museum curators and art aficionados). He has also appeared in 300 Magazine, Artmosphere (Spain), Il Circolo (Italy), Fine Art Shippers magazine among others.
Seker has won multiple juried awards, including the "Artist Choice Award" as voted by 52 tri-state artists in NY, NJ and CT for EYE OF THE TIGER, Best In Show for VITESSE, KARMA & BAZOOKA JOE. He has actively participated in numerous exhibits in the NYC area (such as SOHO, Bushwick, Hoboken etc.) and has been VP of the local artist's guild since 2017.
