The French artist Valhère works with painting, mixed media, and drawing. Born in 1960 and currently residing in Lescar, the artist holds a Ph.D. in Art and Art Science from the University of Paris (Panthéon-Sorbonne). Valhère has been involved in collective and individual exhibitions at the local and national levels since 1987.
Valhère's journey began with an initial education and a professional career in architecture from 1984 to 1994. Since 1994, they have been teaching in the field of visual arts and hold the title of Agrégé de l'Education Nationale. During their professional stay in Africa, specifically in the French Comoros and Mayotte, which lasted for 7 years, Valhère participated in the Biennial of Contemporary Art of Comoros under the patronage of Ousmane Sow in 2012.
Valhère furthered their education with higher studies in the Arts at the University of Paris I, and their artistic journey has included exhibitions in Paris. Notably, in 2001, Valhère held an exhibition under the patronage and with the participation of Orlan in the Espace du 8 novembre at the Bataclan.
