"I live on a sunny island where colours are striking and this has influenced my choices. Besides, I am inspired by people, especially faces but this does not limit me to figurative art. I believe in freedom from categories and fashion and I dabble in impressionist, surrealist and abstract art."

Vanni Pulé is mostly known as an illusionist, as a result of his countless appearances on Television, in cabaret and on stage. Yet he is also a graduate in the arts, a retired senior lecturer and has been an artist since his childhood. In fact, Pulé's cartoons were already being published in national newspapers when he was just a teenager. He is mostly self-taught, having been influenced by his artistic mother and brother. Later on, he studied under Anna Spiteri, Harry Alden and Anton Calleja.
Following,Vanni Pulé finished a Master course in mixed media at Central St Martin's in London. His most recent one-man exhibition was at Spazju Kreattiv at St James Cavalier and he has taken part in several other combined showcases. His works are spread on both sides of the Atlantic in private collections and he lives in Malta.
