"How does one portray poetry? Perhaps it is impossible. Through paintings that relate to my innermost melodies, departing from any concrete narrative, standing isolated from the world like an icon of aesthetics which derives its reason by existing, I make an effort to exhibit part of that complexity."

Israeli painter, Zahava Lupu is a graduate of the Academy of Music, Tel Aviv and the Avni Institute of Art. Her works can be found among many private and public collections and galleries worldwide. The focus of her practice is large-size original abstract oil paintings and mixed media.
