Painter, photographer, graphic artist, designer, author of installations and performances, ZED has had over 50 personal shows over the years. He has participated and won international photographic and art competitions with numerous works in private collections around the world.
Estonian Artist, ZED is a member of the UNESCO Artist's Association, Estonian Association of Artists, Union Painters of Estonia, Photographers Union Estonia and Russian Artists Union, Estonia. His resume includes notable awards and accolades, and he has worked as a freelance artist since 2006. His works have been included in the 2011 book by art critic Galina Balashova titled “Installation On The Background Of Estonian Landscape”. In 2012, he published a personal artist monogram, Eduard Zentsik "My Universe" and the same year he won the First Prize in the international photo competition “Wiki Loves Monuments.” ZED has seven works in the collection of the Pushkin Museum Preserve, two works in the permanent collection of Museum Reserve Plyos, four works in Gallery of the Narva collection as well as works in the collections of The Museum of New Art Pärnu, Estonia, New York Outsider Art and Pushkin Museum Preserve.
His beautiful canvases, carefully rendered and richly textured are seductive representations of dreamlike realms that lend the viewer a calm, gentle space to enter and contemplate surreal impressions of what could be.
